A warm gourmet breakfast is served every morning at 9:30 in the privacy of your room. The menu changes from day to day depending what is in season and fresh. We try to use as many local and organic ingredients as possible including rhubarb and herbs grown in our garden, our neighbour's free range eggs, wild picked blackberries and locally made sausages and bacon. We can accomodate mild allergies. Some example breakfast menus are:
  • Homemade organic granola with organic vanilla yogurt and homemade strawberry jam.
  • Baked puff pastry filled with local wild smoked salmon, soft free range poached egg and hollandaise sauce. Topped with capers.
  • Fresh baked orange zucchini chocolate loaf.
 
  • Grapefruit in honey thyme reduction.
  • Baked bacon wrapped free range eggs with a mustard hollandaise and organic Yukon Gold potatoes with rosemary from the garden.
  • Fresh croissant with homemade raspberry jam.
 
  • Wild blackberries topped with organic vanilla yogurt.
  • Crepes filled with whipped cream and organic cream cheese and cut organic strawberries.
  • Orange bran muffins.
 
All breakfasts include either tea and coffee and juice. Normally breakfast is served in the privacy of your room. For guests that have booked both suites, breakfast can be taken together in our upstairs dinning room if desired. In the summer you have the option of enjoying breakfast on the shared upstairs patio.

If you do not wish to have breakfast you will receive a $15/person discount for the day.
